New Year's Eve 2010

We celebrated New Year's Eve 2010 our traditional way...

With Family
Take-Out Chinese Food for Dinner
And TONS and TONS of games and snacks
The Traditional SHOW put on by the kids & cousins (every act has to end with them falling off the back of the couch in some way...pretty hilarious)
Ending with the midnight countdown

Good times! HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!

2010 Family Portraits

We finally got our family picture taken. I didn't think it'd happen. Even though my husband was a photographer, he seems to dread doing our own family portraits. No need to stress, Honey, they turned out well.

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving was full of the usual...good food, lots of family, and games. Thanks to all the hands that prepared it.

We are thankful for many things. It was a good year for us. We have employment, a good house in a good neighborhood, a healthy adorable family, and nothing to complain about. We are truly blessed.

Great Grandpa enjoyed some playtime with the baby.

The Chefs cooked up a mighty feast.
Great Grandma took her turn enjoying his smiles as well.
Many games were played (on various devices...even eventually on the old fashioned table itself...without electronics).
And relaxing was done. What a nice day!

Halloween 2010

This year we carved pumpkins as usual...

Dressed up and trick-or-treated even in the cold and rain...
Here's our soldier

And our Chinaman and Ninja

And our Zookeeper and two little Monkeys
The whole crew
Then some fun halloween party games

And the day before, we had a little adult party...how to host a murder party...with some neighbors. It was fun. Note the crazy makeup...gotta love it.

Fall Activities

Warning, long post. This fall has been full of fun. Our second son participated in his first Pinewood Derby. He opted for a car he loved rather than a fast one. He still uses it with his little army guys.

Our oldest son graduated to his red belt in Kyukido at the end of September. He's gotten really good and has progressed so much in just 3 years. He has one more belt before he goes for his black belt. Good job, buddy.

We took a family hike to The Grotto in October...baby boy's first hike (not walk).

And ended it with a picnic. What a lovely fall day!
The next week we took a little trip to St. George for some book presentations but enjoyed some outdoor time too. It was beautiful.

We even were able to visit some friends and give their kids some books. What cute little guys.
And then our little girl lost her first tooth over Halloween Weekend. She was so excited!
